Jean Paul, the Chef owner of the Bistro des Armagnacs in Panjas in south west France will be cooking here in The French Connection during the week commencing 22nd Sept. Our menu will be based on his recipes and cooking style so be prepared for the most authentic French country cooking you will taste outside France. Lunch and evening menus all week.

A tureen of our homemade vegetable soup of the day accompanied by fresh baked crusty French bread and butter.

Four large shell on crevettes, griddled with garlic, lemon juice and wine and served with salad and mayonnaise.

Real French country pate served with toast and a salad garnish.

Pan fried scallops with bacon pieces served on a green leaf salad.

Salade Roquefort . V . GF . £5.95
Classic French salad of apple, celery and Roquefort cheese in our own FC* dressing served with a green salad leaf garnish.

Fisherman's Lunch . GF . £11.95
Our home made Provencal fish soup, served with cloves of garlic, garlic rouille, toasted croutons, a bowl of salad and a glass of wine. (You add sea breeze and sunshine!)

Filet de Bœuf a la Maison . £22.95
Prime 7 oz (uncooked weight) English beef fillet steak, cooked to your liking and served with a light Cognac sauce. Served with French fries.

Pasta Monte Carlo . V . £8.95
A bowl of ribbon pasta served piping hot tossed in home made pesto dressing with sauté courgettes and shaved parmesan cheese. Accompanied by slices of garlic bread.

Poule au Pot . £10.95
Classic slow cooked chicken joint casserole with garlic, chopped vegetables and wine. Served with potatoes.

Saumon a la Maison . GF . £11.95
A fine fillet of wild salmon, oven baked served with a lemon and dill sauce. Accompanied by potatoes and today’s vegetables.

Bœuf Bourguignon . £13.95
Our classic signature dish of slow cooked chunks of beef in a rich red wine gravy with carrots and baby onions. Served with vegetables of the day.
